Operations

Our Operations department are supportive to our crew and charterers. They are the linking pin between crew, charterers, insurance and our superintendents in case of cargo damage, vessel damages and issues during loading and discharging. Also with nautical issues they have a supportive role. Last but not least, the responsibility for the certification of the Vessels.

Technical support team

SCG is having direct contacts with professional support teams for services on engine overhauls, welding and fitting jobs and electrical works. These engineers with many years of experience travel to the Vessels to assist the Crew with major repair and maintenance jobs.

Purchase and procurement

SCG has established an efficient computerized purchasing and delivery procedure to facilitate
the planning of orders and the punctual delivery on board of spare parts, equipment, stores and consumables. These tasks are supported by the DNV GL Ship management software (GLSM) The GLSM Procurement Order management program combines in this way preventive maintenance with spares and stores administration.

QA

Q&A ensures that the quality of our services meet the pre-defined requirements. They overlook regulatory compliance, providing adequate (safety) training/education for crew and monitor the quality of the vessels. To establish these points, all vessels are visited regularly to perform internal audits and use DNV GLSM for certificate control and follow up on PSC-reports/audits.
